"Heartland Autumn" Door County, Wisconsin I seldom capture man made objects in my photography, barns are one of the few exceptions to that. To me barns symbolize the Midwestern Heartland. I often travel the back roads in search of old barns in dramatic settings. The vibrant fall colors made a perfect frame for this old Door County barn brilliantly lit on a clear autumn morning.
