Glacial Rubble
Full Image

You can feel the remoteness when you arrive at this large bay along Lake Superior in Canada's Lake Superior Provincial Park. Large, colorful, granite stones line the shoreline for miles and continue out into the water as far as the eye can see. One can only imagine the amount and weight of all this rock and the power of the glaciers that rounded and smoothed these stones before carrying and depositing them here.
