"Seasons End" Park - Wisconsin At first glance this image may appear to be a commonplace view. In actuality it took several years to come upon and capture this moment. Over the previous years I had taken several images of fallen leaves. None were distinctive and conveyed the vision I wanted to capture. The morning after the first frigid night of the season I ventured out to a park near my home. After coming upon this this grouping of fallen leaves I had to work quickly and carefully to capture an image before the frost melted. The frost was the perfect element I needed to convey the feeling of fall. You can almost feel the cold. |
